STRATEGIC APPROACHES TO ENHANCING ORGANIZATIONAL PERFORMANCE IN PROFESSIONAL SERVICE FIRMS: A CASE OF PWC LVIV SDC

This paper explores strategic approaches aimed at improving the operational efficiency and resilience of professional service organizations, with a focus on PwC Lviv SDC. Amidst high employee turnover common in the sector, expanding personnel development programs is presented as a core solution. The study advocates for the implementation of personalized career growth plans, internal mentoring systems, and certification through internationally recognized programs such as ACCA, CIMA, and PMP. In addition, the development of essential soft skills including critical thinking, time management, and presentation abilities is emphasized as a strategic investment in human capital. The research highlights the necessity of integrating a KPI system that accounts not only for financial indicators but also non-financial metrics such as client satisfaction, team efficiency, and request handling speed. Such a multidimensional evaluation framework helps identify managerial bottlenecks and supports evidence-based decision-making. In the context of wartime conditions in Ukraine, crisis management strategies have gained heightened importance. The paper recommends the adoption of scenario planning, the establishment of financial reserves, flexible client contracts, and robust remote work protocols to enhance business continuity. To strengthen international market positioning, the formation of a reputational strategy is also proposed. Key elements include participation in international rankings, ISO certification, publication of success stories in global media, and the involvement of in-house experts in public forums. These actions contribute to increased trust and the perceived value of services offered. Overall, the proposed development strategy for PwC Lviv SDC revolves around the integration of technological advancement, effective human resource management, and a customer-centric approach aligned with both global industry trends and local operational challenges.
